Ruby Schaff of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Ruby will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her loving family: her son, Rod (Laurel) Schaff of Rimbey; her daughter, Penny Loyek of Olds; four cherished grandchildren: Kendra (Lee) Reynolds; Aaron (Stephanie) Schaff; Nicole (Cole) Hays; and Chad Loyek; and four precious great grandchildren: Robbi, Layne, Raina, and Rylee; as well as her nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Gustav and Caroline Karl; her beloved husband, Ed in 1995; her sister, Dorothy Anderson; and her nephew, Calvin Anderson.

A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Ruby’s Life was held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rimbey on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Schultz officiating.
