Reverend Gerrit ‘Jerry’ deVries, MTS of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the age of 89 years.

Jerry will be forever loved and missed by his wife and sweetheart of 67 years, Alison; and his children: Rita (Mike), Susan (David), Gordon (Karen), Ronald (Karen), Donald (Fay), and Tina (Doug); as well as twenty grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and his sister. Jerry was predeceased by his son, David; his granddaughter, Christine, and two sisters.

A Memorial Service in Celebration of Jerry’s Life was held at the Rimbey United Church, Rimbey on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Kris Jensen officiating.
