Denise Vinten of Hoadley, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Acute Care on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the age of 52 years. Denise will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her friend and partner, Ken Smillie of Hoadley; her loving son, Nathan Geddert (Haley Grundy) of Red Deer; and her sister, Debbie (Jerry) Moos of Eckville; as well as other family members, and many treasured friends. Dorothy Lee Kowalzik of Rimbey, Alberta passed away quietly at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Acute Care on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband and best friend, Walter; and her daughter, Bonny (Ken) Olson of Rimbey; as well as five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Chris Connolley of Bentley, Alberta. He passed away suddenly, as a result of a motorcycle accident, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the age of 42 years. Paul Raymond Lees of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Winfield and Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Area One on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Paul’s career included employment as a mechanic at several farm machinery businesses; as well as being the City of Red Deer Fire Department’s first mechanic, maintaining all the emergency vehicles and equipment. When he wasn’t working, Paul enjoyed golfing and fishing as often as possible. Lapidary became his retirement hobby, and he could be found at many farmer’s markets selling his jewellery.
