Lucy Eileen Parent of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Eileen will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband, Frank; and her sister, Hazel Paradis of Red Deer; as well as many other relatives, and several close friends. Eileen was predeceased by her parents, and one sister. With respect for Eileen’s wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. Stanley Frank Dubielew, a.k.a. “Pops”, of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Edmonton on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the young age of 82 years, following complications from heart surgery. Stan was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan on December 29, 1934, the only child to Frank and Otolja Dubielew. As a young man, he took over the family farm in Major, Saskatchewan were her met and married Natalie Mech. Together they had five children, and in 1971 Stan got the fever to move west, choosing Rimbey, Alberta. He enjoyed gardening, singing, playing cards, bingo, and just being with his family.
