George Edward Clausen of Hoadley, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the age of 84 years. George will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter, Sharon Kreutzer and her children, Jason Britton and Braeden Kreutzer, all of Anzac, Alberta; his two brothers, Thor (Sandra) Clausen of Gwynne, Alberta; and Paul (Ruth) Clausen of Vancouver, B.C.; and his sister, Patricia Miller of Ingram, Texas; as well as numerous other family members, and many friends. Daniel ‘Dan’ Joseph Donald of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Area Two on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Dan will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Ruth; his two sons, Tim (Colleen) Donald of Innisfail; and Todd Donald (Amy Podraski) of Calgary; and seven cherished grandchildren: Avery, Kaylyn, Joseph, Evelyn, Sadie, Joshua, and Gracie; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and close friends. With deeply saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Brooke-Lynn ‘Brookie’ Longman of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Too soon and too young she was taken from us at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Edmonton on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the age of 12 years. Brooke-Lynn was born at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on January 28, 2007 to Jamie and Jared Longman. She came into this world loving her family with everything she had. For those who were touched by Brooke-Lynn’s love, a special bond was intertwined into everything she did with you. We believe it takes a community to raise a child, and Brooke-Lynn’s community was built on a circle of loyalty, fierce friendship, and plenty of fun!

It is with great sadness that the family of Roger ‘Ramjet’ Edward Outten, of Gull Lake, Alberta, announces his passing after a brave battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 74 years. Roger was born on July 30, 1945 in Brooks, Alberta and grew up in nearby Duchess. He was a seaman with the Royal Canadian Navy, before a 30-year career with the Calgary Fire Department where he retired as a Captain.
