OBERHAMMER

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Harold John Oberhammer of Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the age of 52 years. He is at peace and dancing in heaven among angels.

Harold was surrounded by a treasured circle of family and close friends who will miss his charismatic smile, his wry sense of humour, his love for a good conversation, and his appreciation for an exciting Edmonton Oilers hockey game! He will be forever remembered by his daughter, Kaitlin (Dean) Watson and their children, Grayson and Benjamin of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; his parents, Alvin and JoAnn Oberhammer of Red Deer; as well as two brothers, Laverne (Michelle) Oberhammer of Rimbey and their family: Mandy; and Allie (Jeff) and their children, Grayson and Cedar; and Keith (Jane) Oberhammer of Calgary and their family: Calvin (Joane); and Cedrick (Glicee) and their son, Tyson; and his brother-in-law, Ralph Zentner (Sherry Still) of Lethbridge and their family: Chad (Sarah) and their children, Rowynn, Carter, and Brixton; and Travis (Kinga) and their children, Emma, Jaxon, and Kamryn. He is also survived by additional family members: Rob (Chelsea) Engel and their daughter, Jayla of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Kaitlin’s mother, Barbara Wiercinski also of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; in addition to his four-footed and furry best buddy, Django. Harold will also be greatly missed by numerous other relatives; many cherished and much-loved friends; and a multitude of dancing partners who he loved to twirl around the dance floor! He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his sister, Faith Zentner in 2015.

‘Break down the walls and let heaven in,

Somewhere in ‘forever’, we will dance again…’
