The family of Lloyd Eugene Bouchard of Parkland Beach, Alberta is saddened to announce his passing at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 64 years.

Lloyd was born on December 5, 1961, in Chicoutimi, Quebec.  He moved with his family to Thompson, Manitoba when he was three years old, and they lived there for sixteen years.  After Lloyd graduated from school, the family relocated to Red Deer, Alberta where he worked for different drywall and oil rig companies.  In 1996, Lloyd had a head injury accident.  He suffered a brain injury and was hospitalized for a year and a half.  His parents, Leo and Denise, retired to care for him at their home in Parkland Beach.

Lloyd will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents, Leo and Denise Bouchard of Parkland Beach; his sister Marlene (Tom) Kopeck of Calgary; as well as his niece Krystle (Shawn) Gammel of Sylvan Lake; and his nephew Kerry Ilg of Calgary.  He will also be lovingly remembered by his great-nieces Izabelle, Emma, and Maiah Gammel of Sylvan Lake; and his special friends Tiffany and Grayson Combs.

With respect for Lloyd’s wishes, no formal funeral ceremony will be held.  His family and friends will come together at a later date to celebrate his life at his parents’ home – the place where Lloyd loved being the most.

If desired, memorial donations in Lloyd’s memory may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, Alberta  T2E 8M7 (www.stars.ca).  Thoughts and messages to the family may be shared through the condolence area located at the bottom of this page.
