Karen Kay Kirk of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre ~ Area Three on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Karen was born on September 25, 1936 in Edmonton, Alberta, and was united in marriage to Chester Kirk in 1954. Throughout their many years of marriage, they farmed in the Rimbey, Ponoka, Bawlf and Daysland areas. Together they shared a life of love and devotion. Karen will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her four sons: John (Debbie) Kirk of Daysland, Alberta; David Kirk of Wetaskiwin; Charles (Kathy) Kirk of Ponoka; and Chester E. Kay passed away with her loving friends by her side at Bethany, Sylvan Lake on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the age of 84 years. He was the eldest of five children born to Raymond and Rose Skeels. Gordon passed away at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Gordon was a dear husband and best friend to his loving wife, Alexis for over 46 years; and a wonderful father and cherished grandpa to his son, Robert (Tracy) Skeels of Pierceland, Saskatchewan and their children: Brooke, Willow, and Hunter. Blaine W. Odegaard of Winfield, Alberta passed away at his home on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 56 years.
