It is with great sadness that the family of Ethel Clara Keith (Morien) of Rimbey, Alberta announces her passing at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the age of 95 years.    


Ethel will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter, Gerry (Len) Hough of Stony Plain; and her son, Jim (Pat) Keith of Sherwood Park; in addition to six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law, Herb Keith of Rimbey; as well as many additional family members and friends.  Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Sylvanus in 2004; her son, Rod in 2015; her parents, Emma and Luis; two brothers, and one sister; two brothers-in-law, and four sisters-in-law; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. 


Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Ethel’s Life which will be held at the Rimbey United Church, Rimbey on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marco Ste-Marie officiating.  The Celebration will include a remembrance of Ethel’s son, Rod.  A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the service.  In keeping with Ethel’s wishes, Rod will be laid to rest alongside her at a Family Interment Service in the Mount Auburn Cemetery, Rimbey at a later date.
