Charles ‘Greig’ V. Jaffray of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 73 years.

Greig will be forever remembered and greatly missed by his loving family: his beloved wife of 52 years, Pam; his son, Dallas (Barbara) of Edmonton; two daughters, Carla (Brent) of Bawlf, Alberta; and Jody (Gordon) of Grande Prairie; as well as nine cherished grandchildren: Dayton, Kyle, Miranda, Kelsey, Kaitlin, Courtney, Carson, Amy, and Kelsey. He will also be forever remembered by his siblings: three brothers, Peter (Mildred) of Drumheller; Gerald (Murium) of Bentley; and Lawrence (Carol) of Rimbey; and his sister, Roseabelle of Red Deer; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many close friends. Greig was predeceased by his father, Alex; his mother, Bella; two brothers, Richard and John; one sister, Lily Jane; and his brother-in-law, Walley.

A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Greig’s Life was held at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre, Rimbey on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Margaret Lange officiating.
