Dale Christianson of Bluffton, Alberta passed away at his home on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 67 years.

Dale was born on March 13, 1952 in Hanna, Alberta, and lived on what is now the Calgary Stampede Horse Ranch. In 1958 he moved to Chinook, Alberta; where his family had cows, horses, and farmed. Dale was united in marriage to Gloria in 1992, and welcomed two step-daughters into his life. During the summer of 1993, the four of them moved to Bluffton where he continued to raise cows and to further expand his passion for horses. Dale was actively supportive in community events in both Chinook and Rimbey; such as playing cards, rodeos, dances, brandings, and many other events.

Dale will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his loving family: Lynette (Phil) Wheale and their children: Grady, Kecia, and Corbin of Rimbey; and Candice (Jason) Bennink and their children: Cayden, Lexi, and Keanen, also of Rimbey. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his two sisters, Patsy (Brian) Walton; and Terry-Anne (Bob) Cockburn, both of Hanna; as well as several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many close friends. Dale was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Doreen Christianson.
