John Waddell of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the age of 75 years.

John will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his beloved wife and ‘partner-in-all’, Marion; his son, James (Connie) Mielnichuk of Innisfail; and his three daughters, Charlene (Dana) Ulveland of Salem, Oregon; Brenda (Paul) Kusch of Sylvan Lake; and Sharon Waddell (Tyler) of Edmonton; as well as seven cherished grandchildren: Jason, Jennifer, Ryan, Jill, Richel, Amanda, and Kyle; and seven precious great grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Janet Waddell of Edmonton; his nieces and nephews; and many, many close friends. John was predeceased by his parents, Isa and Dave.

With respect for John’s wishes, no formal funeral service was held.
