BLAND


With broken hearts we announce that Coleton Bland of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 29 years.


Coleton will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents Tammy and Stacey Bland of Rimbey; his sisters Christina (Jamie) Belozer of Pigeon Lake; and Cara Bland of Sylvan Lake; in addition to his treasured nephew Jordan Belozer. He will also be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his paternal grandfather Keith Bland of Buck Lake; as well as numerous cousins, additional relatives, and countless friends. Coleton was predeceased by several of his family members, along with his best friend that he truly missed.


Coleton loved spending time at “the ponds” – especially with his friends – where everyone was always welcome. He enjoyed any opportunity to hang out, and appreciated the serenity of the surroundings. Coleton took pleasure in the time he spent helping to keep this special spot looked after and well cared for.

A public Memorial Service in Celebration of Coleton’s Life was held at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre, Rimbey on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marco Ste-Marie officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Coleton’s memory may be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Central Alberta Region, 5017 – 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4B2 (www.cmhareddeer.ca).
