GEILEN


Robert “Bob” Arnold Geilen of the Breton, Alberta area went peacefully to heaven on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He passed away at Villa Caritas in Edmonton at the age of 80 years.


Bob will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Marguerite; his children Janette (Scott) Langford, Bob Jr., Debbie Mellor, Leona (Mike) Williamson, Lorie (Sean) Jarvis, and Tammy Dianocky (Jason); as well as his grandchildren Courtney, Lucas, Reid, Alicia, Samantha, Sarah, Beth, James, Hope, Ashley, and Evan; and one great-granddaughter Annika. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sisters Bella (Gus) Soudant, Elsie (Pete) Willems, Corrie (Rod) Leroy, Theresa (Martin) Van Sloun, and Louise Allen; his brother John Geilen; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents Hubert Hein and Louise; two brothers Paul and Joe; and one sister Mary Willems.


A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Bob’s Life will take place in the summer at the Yeoford Community Hall on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He will be laid to rest in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Winfield at a later date.
