PERLITZ

Donna Lorraine Perlitz (née Spycher) of Blackfalds, Alberta passed away after a brief illness, with her daughter by her side, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the age of 69 years.

Donna was one of five children in her family. She was a loving mom, grandma, auntie, and cousin; as well as a dedicated friend. Despite any hardships she was faced with, Donna remained strong and true to her beliefs. She lived by these words, “this too shall pass.” Donna’s favourite times were spent with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those whose lives were touched by hers.

Donna leaves to mourn her loving daughter Stacey Perlitz; and two treasured grandchildren Kayla and Dylan Dawe. She also leaves to mourn her remaining siblings, Eddie Spycher and Rachel Deetjen; as well as a large circle of extended family members; and all her dear friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents Godfrey Spycher (1970) and Ramona Langmuir (Anderson-Spycher) (2008); brother Rod Spycher (1997); sister Audrey Cummins (2011); and her son Billy Perlitz (2020).

An Informal Gathering, Celebrating the Lives of both Donna and her son Billy, was held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Bentley on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Mark Stevenson officiating.
