RUMSEY

With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Donna E. Rumsey of Rimbey, Alberta. Donna passed away with her husband Roger by her side at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the age of 72 years.

Donna’s love for life encompassed slow pitch, camping, and fishing; but, most of all – with all her heart – she loved her family, grandchildren, and pets. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband and best friend Roger; her son Robert (Robyn) McIntyre of Rimbey; and her daughter Ashley (Troy) Parker of Carseland, Alberta. She will also be deeply missed by four precious grandchildren Conner, Evan, Mackenzie, and Madelyn; as well as numerous extended family members, and many treasured friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents, her mother Bernice; her father George; and her step-dad Ray.

A Private Family Graveside Service was held at a later date when Donna was laid to rest in the Columbarium at the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey. If desired, memorial donations in her memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
