It is with great sorrow that the family of Angela “Angie” M.G. Wiebe of Sylvan Lake, Alberta announces her sudden passing.  Angie passed away, with her loving husband Jim by her side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the age of 60 years.    

 

Angie was born in Invermere, British Columbia on July 7, 1963, and met the love of her life, Jim Hendrick, in 1981.  They were united in marriage in 1996, and would have celebrated 43 years of love and friendship on January 15, 2024.  Together with Jim, Angie spent many happy years living in the Vegas Valley in the United States, and travelling to Mexico and Belize.                

 

Angie will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Jim; her mother Marianne Wiebe; her sister Monika (Ernie) Rumsey; as well as Jim’s loving family.  She will also be greatly missed by her nephews Ryker and Greg; her niece Tara (Lyndon); in addition to several other family members; and many dear friends.  Angie was predeceased by her father Heinz Wiebe; and her mother- and father-in-law Connor and Mary Hendrick.

 

In loving memory of Angie, a mass will be said at St. Stephen’s Parish in Old Chelsea, Quebec in the spring.  Memorial donations in Angie’s honour may be made directly to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 880-5160 Decarie Boulevard, Montreal, Quebec  H3X 2H9 (www.kidney.ca).  Thoughts and messages to the family may be shared through the condolence area located at the bottom of this page.
