Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Megan Young (neé Knoch) of Thorsby, Alberta on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the age of 38 years.

Megan will be sadly missed and forever remembered for her welcoming smile and the way she made people feel loved. Although “Mook’s” journey ended too soon, she brought much love and laughter to so many people.

Gone, but never forgotten.

Megan is survived by her mother Shannon (Ken) James; her son Wesley and his dad Wayne; her son William and his dad Stephen; her brother Adam (Cara) and their children Cole and Addison; and her father Rick Knoch. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many cherished friends. Megan was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Darrel and Necia Jones; and her paternal grandparents Henry and Kay Knoch.

A Family Gathering to Celebrate Megan’s Life will be held at a later date.
